Giant bikes today announced it has taken over Argos' role as title sponsor of one of the most successful professional road cycling teams. Therefore, Team Argos-Shimano will be titled Team Giant-Shimano starting with the first race of the 2014 season.

On Wednesday evening Felt Bicycles announced that it has decided not renew its sponsorship of Team Argos-Shimano in 2014.

Earlier today Team Argos-Shimano announced that a new company will replace Argos as title sponsor starting from January 1, 2014.

Warren Barguil (Argos-Shimano) has taken his second stage of this year’s Vuelta a Espana.
