Coming out of the dark, Team Cannondale's Peter Sagan proved he is still capable of winning sprints in professional bike races when he fought his way to victory in stage 4 of this year's Tour of Oman.

German National Champion André Greipel of Lotto-Belisol catapulted himself back into the overall lead of the 2014 Tour of Oman when he beat fellow sprint aces Peter Sagan and Nacer Bouhanni in a battle across the finish line.

Norwegian Alexander Kristoff captured his first Tour of Oman stage win by beating Leigh Howard and Tom Boonen in a sprint across the finish line; Leigh Howard takes overall Tour of Oman lead from André Greipel.

Having already won two stages in last year's edition of Tour of Oman, Team Lotto-Belisol's André Greipel proved his continued determinism when he was the first rider across the finish line in stage 1 of this year's race.
