Cervelo TestTeam has picked and chosen its nine rider roster for the 2010 Vuelta a Espana, which is the final Grand Tour of the 2010 season.
Cervelo TestTeam has picked and chosen its nine rider roster for the 2010 Vuelta a Espana, which is the final Grand Tour of the 2010 season. With a strong and balanced team that includes 2008 Tour de France Champion Carlos Sastre (Spain) and Green Jersey Winner and God of Thunder Thor Hushovd (Norway), Cervélo TestTeam is ready to tackle the challenges of the 21-stage Vuelta a España, or 2010 Tour of Spain in English.
Hushovd will power towards the finish line bolting for stage victories, while Sastre, racing on home soil, is focused on gaining a spot on the podium in the general classification. In other words Cervelo TestTeam is betting on a dual-ambition strategy in the Vuelta.
Alex Sans Vega (ESP), Jens Zemke (GER) and Philippe Mauduit (FRA) will be the team's three sports directors in the 2010 Vuelta.
