Silence-Lotto Names Riders for 2009 Tour de France
Cadel Evans and Marc Sergeant have selected the eight riders who will join Cadel Evans in his quest to become Tour de France champion.
The Silence-Lotto team will start the Tour de France 2009 in Monaco on July 4 with the following riders.
• Cadel Evans (Aus)
• Thomas Dekker (Ned)
• Jurgen Van den Broeck (Bel)
• Johan Vansummeren (Bel)
• Greg Van Avermaet (Bel)
• Staf Scheirlinckx (Bel)
• Mickaël Delage (Fra)
• Matthew Lloyd (Aus)
• Sebastian Lang (Ger)
Reserves are Roy Sentjens and Charles Wegelius.
The team will be led by team manager Marc Sergeant and sports directors Herman Frison, Hendrik Redant and Roberto Damiani.
