Cervelo TestTeam Signs Oscar Pujol Munoz
Cervelo TestTeam has announced the signing of Oscar Pujol Munoz.
Twenty-five year old Oscar Pujol Munoz has cycling in his genes coming from a cycling family. Following a winning sub-23 career, Pujol made an auspicious amateur debut in 2006 winning the third stage of the Vuelta a Cantabria and then finishing second overall. In 2006 he also won two stages at the Tour de Salamanca, finishing the year with four wins and two podium placings.
He continued in 2007 by winning the Aitzondo Klasikoa as well as stages at both the Tour de Navarra and the Bizkaiko BISA competition series. He ended the year with five victories and a fourth place in the Spanish Cup. Pujol completed his first year as a pro in 2008, racing with continental team Burgos Monumental.
