Primoz Roglic Heads Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe Roster for Giro d’Italia

Team Red Bull – Bora – Hansgrohe has announced its line-up for Giro d’Italia 2025

Team Red Bull – Bora – Hansgrohe is sending a strong line-up to Giro d’Italia 2025. The legendary Giro d’Italia race is more than just a race to the team as it is even a cornerstone of the team’s identity. The team is, therefore, prioritizing the race highly and is sending former Tour de France Champion Primoz Roglic to Italy to secure a Grand Tour victory for the ambitious team.

Slovenian Primoz Roglic won the 2023 Giro d’Italia. He has also taken the general classification in the Vuelta a Espana four times and has even won fifteen stages in the race. Roglic won this year’s Volta Ciclista a Catalunya and finished eighth in the general classification of Volta ao Algarve.

35-year-old Roglic will be the sole team captain in this year’s Giro d’Italia, which will start in Albania on May 9, before transferring on to Italian territory. He will be supported by Jai Hindley, Daniel Martinez, and Giovanni Aleotti in the mountains as the three riders will be able to deliver valuable lead-out performances for Roglic.

21-year-old Italian Giulio Pellizzari has also shown promising performances and has been included in the team roster to deliver additional valuable support to Roglic in mountain territory.

The five riders will be complemented by always strong and loyal allrounder Jan Tratnik, Nico Denz, and Gianni Moscon, who will be racing on home turf.
