BMC Racing Team Wins UCI Road World Championships Team Time Trial
#Richmond2015 BMC Racing Team powered to victory in Richmond, Virginia this afternoon.
Taylor Phinney completed his comeback from a 2014 fractured leg when he helped the BMC Racing Team to men’s team time trial gold on Sunday at the 2015 UCI Road World Championships in Richmond, Va.
BMC took the win in 42:07, defeating Etixx-Quick Step by 12 seconds, while Movistar earned bronze in 42:38.
Earning top-20 finishes, Trek Factory Racing finished 10th, Team Cannondale-Garmin protected by POC took 12th, Optum p/b Kelly Benefit Strategies placed 17th, UnitedHealthcare claimed 19th, followed by Jelly Belly p/b Maxxis in 20th.
Other American teams competing on home turf included the 21st-place Hincapie Racing Team, 22nd-place Jamis-Hagens Berman, 24th-place Champion System-Stan’s NoTubes, 25th-place Lupus Racing team and 26th-place Astellas Cycling Team.
