The BMC Racing Team will field a roster for tomorrow's 2010 Tour of Flanders that includes four riders who have scored top 10 finishes at the famous Belgian Classic over the past five years.
The team's line-up for the 262 km race includes 2007 Tour of Flanders winner Alessandro Ballan, who additionally finished fourth in the Tour of Flanders 2008, fifth in 2006 and sixth in 2005.
Legend George Hincapie finished third in 2006, fifth in 2008 and seventh in 2005.
Team BMC Racing's Marcus Burghardt finished in seventh position in last year's Tour of Flanders and Karsten Kroon finished eighth in 2006.
The team has no pre-determined leader for the Ronde van Vlaanderen 2010. According to Team BMC Racing sports director John Lelangue having no pre-determined leader is much better on a race course that will be much harder this year. "It's always good to have four guys who are real contenders. We can play different cards. We don't have to put everything on one leader. We have to take advantage of the numbers and .. keep the group together for the final."
