Fortunately, enduro lids have come a long way in recent years, and Bell punched out ventilation wherever it could in the Super 3R without compromising the helmet's structural integrity. Brow channels, helmet vents, and chin guard vents all keep air moving and save you from overheating when the sun's overhead. While the In-Mold shell protects against direct impacts, Multi-Directional Impact Protection System (MIPS) technology helps absorb and diffuse indirect or oblique forces. MIPS is a thin inner basket sits more subtly on the inside of the helmet. During certain crashes, this slim layer rotates slightly to absorb rotational forces.
