The Santa Cruz Blur is our go-to bike for cross-country races and weekend singletrack rides alike. We love the Santa Cruz Blur for its extremely lightweight frame, cross-country-focused geometry, and new Superlight suspension platform. The Blur has an agile 68. 3-degree head tube angle, allowing it to steer precisely and still handle whatever the XC course throws at it. Size-specific seat tube angles and chainstays position us upright and over the pedals, ensuring an efficient, agile, and balanced bike, regardless of frame size. Superlight suspension is focused on converting every ounce of energy into forward momentum. Santa Cruz achieves this by lowering the leverage curve for more traction and sensitivity, as well as a more efficient forward drive and supportive feel. On top of this, the Superlight system uses fewer moving parts, bearings, and linkages, saving over half a pound from the previous VPP suspension. The C S build of the Santa Cruz Blur features Santa Cruz's Carbon C frame and a mid-tier component spec. SRAM's GX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain offers a colossal gear range for getting us the steepest climbs. A RockShox SID SL Select fork with 110mm of travel helps to save weight, is super adjustable, and has a remote to lock out the fork, allowing us to climb more efficiently. The RockShox SidLuxe Select is a super lightweight rear shock sensitive to minor bumps and features a remote lockout for climbing efficiency. RaceFace AR Offset 27 rims and DT Swiss 370 hubs pair together to make a reliable wheelset fit for any rider, and a Fox Transfer SL Performance dropper post is lightweight and has super smooth actuation, making for effortless changes in saddle height. Maxxis Aspen tires are fast-rolling and lightweight without sacrificing the grip we need, and the SRAM Level TL brakes supply all the stopping power w...
