Built for flat-out speed no matter what direction we point it, the new Yeti SB120 is a do-it-all trail bike that refuses to be filed into just one category. The C/Series carbon construction is not only impressively lightweight and strong, it is also the wallet-friendly option. Thanks to 120mm of Switch Infinity rear travel, this short-travel trail slayer pedals efficiently uphill without sacrificing small bump sensitivity and rear wheel traction. This year, Yeti's engineers refined both the carbon layup and geometry to provide a consistent ride feel across the entire size range while also increasing overall frame stiffness. The 66. 5-degree headtube angle is slack yet still climb-friendly, while 29-inch wheels and a 130mm fork offer precision handling and stability at speed so we can crush through technical terrain with ease. This Yeti SB120 C1 build is smartly spec'd with the 12-speed Shimano SLX drivetrain which shifts smoothly and reliably without the wallet punch of XT or XTR components when it comes time for replacements. A wide-range 10-51 tooth cassette gives us plenty of gears to keep our wheels spinning on seemingly vertical climbs, and a set of 4-piston brakes allows for precision speed modulation through our favorite technical descents. The Fox Performance 34 fork offers just enough adjustability for us to dial in our ideal ride feel without being overwhelming, and the 29-inch Crank Brothers Enduro alloy wheelset lets us roll over most features without worrying about dinging our rims if we get off our line. No trail bike is complete without a dropper post, so Yeti rounds out this build with a long OneUp dropper on every size so we can get our saddle out of our way to move around the bike in the techy stuff. The Yeti SB120 C1 SLX mountain bike is an impressively versatile bike that begs to be pushed to the limits. *Due to a high demand in the global supply chain and bike industry since the start of the pandemic, material weight and exact components ...
