We've always associated Pivot with high-performance mountain bikes, and the Shuttle SL e-MTB falls right in line with that ethos. Pivot's engineers pull out all the stops to develop a lightweight e-MTB with crisp handling that rides almost exactly like our favorite analog trail bike. Thanks to the carbon hollow core frame construction and FAZUA Ride 60 system that clocks in at just 9. 3lb, the Shuttle SL is a super-light bike ready to tackle massive climbs in search of side hits and sends that make us giddy. 132mm of Fox Factory-supported DW-Link rear travel is bolstered by the 60Nm motor for a poppy, responsive ride that doesn't sacrifice traction when the trail turns vertical. Plus on the off chance that we drain the battery miles from the trailhead, the Shuttle SL's motor is virtually drag-free when the pedal assist is turned off. The Pivot Shuttle SL Pro X01 is built so we can head out on all-day trail missions and send new lines without having to worry about how our components are going to perform. The 12-speed SRAM X01 drivetrain perfectly balances light weight and durability while providing us with plenty of climbing range. A Fox Factory 36 fork is specifically tuned for e-bikes to absorb big hits while 29in DT Swiss XM1700 wheels let us roll over just about anything we might find along the way. When the speeds get high, braking becomes even more important, so Pivot smartly spec'd a set of 4-piston Shimano XT brakes reinforced by a 203mm rotor up front and a 180mm rotor in the rear so we can modulate our speed with ease. And to round out the package, there is the ultra-reliable Fox Transfer Factory Series dropper so we can get the saddle fully out of the way for rowdy descents and gnarly rock gardens. The Pivot Shuttle SL Pro XO1 e-bike looks like a trail bike and rides like a trail bike, but is ready to take us places that only a motor can get us to. *Due to a high demand in the global supply chain and bike industry, material weight and exact compon...
