The Ultimate Cyclist Review

The Ultimate Cyclist CD is a tool to train your mind.

The Ultimate Cyclist self-help CD is a tool to train your mind.  There’s a 5 minute intro track in addition to the 54 minute main track. It is important to listen to both in their entirety.  It is suggested to listen to the complete CD daily for a week and then to track two daily for approximately six weeks.

I’m still not sure if it was good or bad when I nodded off the first time I listened to it.  I chose the middle of the day so I would be alert.  The next thing I knew, I opened my eyes and it was 13:48 into track two!  The monotone voice and the droning in the background were effective.

The repetitive message is a positive one.  It is obvious the intent is to work on the subconscious mind.  Positives suggestions include riding your best because you are a winner.  The CD instills confidence and stress reduction for the user.  It provides the rider with new beliefs that he can ride faster and climb better.  The positive suggestions can remove doubt from the rider and increase their skill.

It’s best to listen at bedtime.  I uploaded the program onto my iPod.  I was never able to hear the track in its entirety before falling asleep.  It was obvious the hypnotic aspect worked on me.

You don’t have to be a professional cyclist to utilize the benefits from The Ultimate Cyclist CD.  It can be difficult to measure a psychological change as opposed to a physical one.  For me, I was able to fall asleep quicker and be more relaxed.

Since I’m an old guy who gets fat in winter, my riding abilities are limited to begin with.  I do know I slept better and felt better. This is a benefit in anything you do regardless if it was competitive or not.  Have an open mind, utilize this training tool, and see for yourself what you can gain from it.
