The Swiss/American BMC Racing Team announced Saturday it has signed Alessandro De Marchi, the "most aggressive" rider of the 2014 Tour de France.

Chris Froome (Sky) has won the Criterium du Dauphine Libere 2013. He finished second to Alessandro De Marchi (Cannondale) in the eighth and last stage of the race, a mountainous, 155.5-km ride from Sisteron to Risoul, in 4:28:09. Andrew Talansky (Garmin-Sharp) finished third.
