2008 Tour de France - Stage 4.

2008 Tour de France - Stage 4

I love it, only 29.5km! Finally a distance I can actually ride in a day. There will be nobody winning in a breakaway today, but I’m making another prediction. The winner’s last name will start with the letter C. Another for sure thing is Feillu will not be wearing yellow after today. Just remember, you read it here first from Super Dave.

The first to raise an eyebrow is Danny Pate who sets a fast time. Chavanel’s time is better as he crosses the time check on the road. There’s my C man making me look good. At the finish, Sylvain is faster than Pate and gains first place (just as I predicted).

Uh Oh, Stephan Schumacher(who?) sets fast time but there are a few big guns still on the course. Evans comes in but is slower than Stephan. Millar finishes behind Stephan also!

At this point, we only have to worry about Feillu…NOT! Give him credit though. If you’re going to wear the yellow jersey, get it the day before the time trial and be a native of France.

The TT is over and just as I predicted, Chumacher wins! I gotta tell ya, as smart as I am, I should get a raise.

Oh yeah, my time is 3:48:10 and I see the 5km to go banner. I’ve got the lanterne rouge!
