Universal Sports shows Tirreno-Adriatico live online and on TV. Universal Sports presents over 45 hours of LIVE comprehensive coverage of the 2012 Tirreno-Adriatico cycling stage race. The network will cover the race on its television, online and mobile platforms beginning this Wednesday, March 7 through Tuesday, March 13 at 12:30 p.m. ET each day. Universal Sports partner Roadcycling.com will air video highlights from every stage of the 2012 Tirreno-Adriatico in its video section. The latest race in Universal Sports' "Cycling Series," the 1,063 kilometer race is the third event in the International Cycling Union's WorldTour. It will begin with a team time trial in San Vincenzo-Donoratico and conclude in San Benedetto del Tronto with the final stage consisting of a 9.3 kilometer individual time trial.

The network, which owns exclusive rights across all platforms to its compelling world class events, will also provide live streaming of the race on UniversalSports.com as part of its 2012 Road Cycling Spring Package, which is highlighted by the Giro d'Italia and also includes the RAI Milano-San Remo and Tour of the Basque Country. The Tirreno-Adriatico race will feature some of the sport's top cyclists, including the race's defending champion and Tour de France winner Cadel Evans, last year's points classification winner Michele Scarponi, Swiss champion and time trial powerhouse Fabian Cancellara, who is fresh off a win in the Strade Bianche last weekend, 2011 UCI World Tour winner Philippe Gilbert, and world champion Mark Cavendish, as well as the USA's Chris Horner and Tyler Farrar and Britain's David Millar.

Universal Sports' veteran cycling broadcast team of play-by-play announcer Steve Schlanger and analyst Todd Gogulski will handle the network's cycling coverage. Gogulski spent more than a decade racing professionally, including on the U.S. National team, and had more than 100 victories during his career.
