Sugoi Men’s RS Zero Jacket Review
The challenge of cold weather cycling apparel is to provide warmth without bulk. Too many layers negate the purpose of breathable waterproof fabrics. I believe SUGOI has met this challenge with the introduction of the RS Zero line.
It didn't fold. The wide gripper band around the bottom of the jacket stuck to my tights like an insect to frog's tongue. It never crept up. The collar was velvety soft and supple. The 3M Scotchlite reflective accents were in front and back.
SUGOI, meaning incredible, lives up to its namesake. I can think of other meanings that certainly would apply such as quality, functional, and attractive. Based in Vancouver, another meaning I can think of for SUGOI is pride. During the time of the winter Olympics, I think the RS Zero cycling jacket would be perfect to wear in the wind, rain, and snow ... even if there isn't a velodrome event!
