Riders Sound Off on Radio Ban at 2010 UCI World Cycling Championships
Cycling World Championships organizers not allowing race radios; ban will extend to Grand Tours in 2011.
Grand Tours. A radio ban will result in much more exiting and spontaneous racing sporting more attacks and breakaways. Radios make the riders spoiled kids who only act when receiving radio instructions from their sports directors. Riders are humans and not robots and should not be controlled by radio instructions.
