Interbike: Cold, Colder, Coldest, CamelBak

Camelbak continues to evolve their line of insulated water bottles for cycling. The newest water bottle from CamelBak presented at Interbike is the Podium Ice.

Camelbak continues to evolve their water bottles to provide cold, refreshing drinks during long rides and hot days.

The newest water bottle from CamelBak is the Podium Ice. According to Seth Beiden from Camelbak, the insulation is essentially frozen air. That means lightweight and easily squeezed. It also means ice cold drinks long after the sun goes down. With Camlebak, there’s no excuse not to hydrate. A word of caution about the Podium Ice, sip slowly, avoid brainfreeze!

The CamelBak Podium Ice bottle keeps water cold four times longer than standard bike bottles. Featuring the unique new insulation, a high water volume, and taste-free, BPA-free polypropylene all in a lightweight design, Podium Ice helps maximize performance and keeps cyclists focused while delivering optimal hydration.

The Podium Ice is constructed using Zero-Loft aerogel, a highly effective insulator – inch for inch, the highest thermal resistance of any insulating material. Featuring CamelBak’s innovative and practical self-sealing Jet Valve, the easy-to-squeeze Podium Ice delivers the perfect amount of water without spills or leaks. The high-flow Jet Valve also allows riders to easily drink and stash the bottle without having to worry about opening and closing the valve. The superior thermal endurance of Podium Ice also works great with warm beverages during cool weather rides.
