Earlier today, BMC revealed its new flagship bike - the BMC Impec Automobili Lamborghini Edition - designed in association with designers from the famous Italian Lamborghini company.

The bike was presented in the Brian & Barry flagship store, which to many a Milanese is known for carrying exclusive brands and presenting high profile events attracting many a VIP.

Its events are oriented not only toward presenting new collections from famous and hip brands, but are also in tune with the metropolitan lifestyle, such as photographic exhibitions by emerging artists.

According to a BMC spokesman, this was the perfect setting for the world premiere of the limited edition Impec Automobili Lamborghini, built by the Swiss bike manufacturer BMC - a company that also manufactured the bikes used by Cadel Evans when he battled his way to a Tour de France victory on the roads of France last year.

BMC finds that Automobili Lamborghini and BMC luxury brands share a passion for making the best products in the world, with attention paid to every single detail, and for creating pure excitement through cars and bicycles featuring the most exclusive and technologically advanced materials.

Many find carbon fiber composite materials to be essential for the engineering of the two- and four-wheeled transportation means of tomorrow. Such bikes and cars are made from reinforced polymers and combine an unrivalled lightness with outstanding mechanical properties.

The BMC Impec Automobili Lamborghini Edition is a limited edition racing bike which merges the technology and essence of both companies, which BMC and Lamborghini representatives told Roadcycling.com are faithful to the same basic principle they've coined "form follows function."

The original frame of the BMC Impec, whose name stands for impeccable, is manufactured in Switzerland in an automated and controlled process.

The 2012 Automobili Lamborghini edition features saddle and handlebars covered with Lamborghini suede, special airbrushing in the classic Argos Orange shade of the Aventador LP 700-4. It sports the Automobili Lamborghini logo on the front of the frame, deep carbon fiber rims and integrates the in-demand Shimano Dura Ace DI2 electronic derailleur system.

According to a BMC spokesman only a total of thirty bikes will be made and delivery will start in June this year. The BMC Impec Automobili Lamborghini Edition is priced at $26,000, or €20,000, and if interested, you may order one from the 120 Lamborghini dealers worldwide - or in one of the selected BMC shops around the world.

The BMC Impec Automobili Lamborghini Edition is the first in a long-term partnership that will likely develop additional new exclusive series.
